Mineral furnace transformer
The mineral furnace is a collective name of iron alloy furnace, calcium carbide furnace, yellow phosphorous furnace and other immersed arc furnace, with dominant loaded materials resistance heating, and the loading relatively continuous and smooth. The mineral furnace is featured with low impedance, high current, multiple voltage adjustment shifts, small shift difference, and is classified into loaded and excitation-free voltage adjustment. In general, the first several shifts are constant capacities, and the second several shifts are constant currents.
The mineral furnace is a widely used immersed arc transformer. With different metallurgy varieties, the transformer parameters and features are different. So transformers for metallurgy of calcium carbide (HC series), metallurgy of iron alloy (HT series), yellow phosphorous, diamond and pesticide production are collectively called mineral furnace transformers. General model HK is used. The series products are based on features of the transformers consistent with those of the electric furnaces, focus on reducing losses of the transformers, coordinated by the power system of the mineral furnace and try to reduce the power consumption of the mineral furnace.
